SFMFQ Pneumatic Roller Mill
The SFMFQ roller mill grinds wheat and maize in the break and reduction passages of a flour mill. Two pairs of rolls per machine, pneumatic roll engagement and servo-controlled feeding, so the rolls open and close by themselves as the feed comes and goes.

SFMFQ roller mill specifications
Five sizes share the same frame design. Roll length is the figure that decides how many machines your mill needs.

How many roller mills does your capacity need?
Millers size the milling section by total roll length per 100 kg of wheat a day. Type your capacity for a rough count, then let us check it against your wheat and flour.
| If you use only | Roll length per mill | Mills needed |
|---|
8.4 mm per 100 kg comes from a real 82 TPD wheat flow sheet. Hard wheat, more flour grades or semolina need more roll length; a real mill mixes sizes across break and reduction passages. Send your capacity and we work out the exact list.
What makes it run steady for years
Each point below answers a question millers ask when they compare roller mills.

Rolls engage by themselves
Pneumatic engagement and a servo feeder open and close the rolls with the feed. The feed gate follows the level in the hopper, so the rolls never grind empty.

Quiet, slip-free drive
Fast and slow rolls run on a three-wheel toothed wedge belt that doesn't jump teeth, with an automatic tensioner that keeps the belt life long.

Balanced cast rolls
Double-pour centrifugal cast rolls, dynamically balanced, on self-aligning roller bearings that hold the roll gap under high speed and pressure.

Gap you can set and trust
The roll pack carries the grinding forces itself, so the gap you set stays where you set it. Scrapers clean the rolls and are easy to adjust.
Cooler rolls, better flour
Negative-pressure aspiration draws air through the grinding zone, which lowers roll and stock temperature and improves feeding.
Low vibration, easy access
Cast-iron base, welded steel side frames, a fully enclosed body and door-type covers. Single or central control.
Will it fit the mill you already have?
Check these four things before you order. Send us photos and we check them with you.
Floor space & load
From 1400 × 1410 mm and 2.4 t (50×2) up to 2060 × 1422 mm and 4 t (125×2).
Compressed air
The mill needs 0.4–0.7 MPa dry air. No compressor yet? Add one to the quotation.
Power supply
Motors from 7.5 to 37 kW. Tell us your voltage and frequency.
Spouts & openings
Inlet and outlet positions on the drawing. We match them to your floor openings and spouts.
Rolls you can reflute, parts you can reorder
Rolls start at Φ250 mm and can be reground and refluted down to Φ230 mm. Spare rolls, belts, bearings, scrapers and brushes are supplied by model number.

Where the SFMFQ sits in the mill
Break rolls open the kernel, reduction rolls grind the middlings into flour. Each passage feeds the plansifter that follows it.
Questions about the SFMFQ
Pneumatic SFMFQ or single 6F roller mill: which one do I need?
The SFMFQ has two roll pairs, pneumatic engagement and longer rolls, and suits medium and large mills. The 6F single roller mill is simpler and suits small mills. Tell us your capacity and we will tell you which fits.
Can the SFMFQ replace a roller mill in my existing mill?
Often, yes. Send the make and model of your current mill, photos of the floor openings and spouts, and your roll sizes. We check dimensions, inlets and outlets before we quote.
What warranty do I get?
Three years on the roller mill. Wear parts such as belts, scrapers and brushes are not covered and are supplied by model number.
Can I see it running before I order?
Yes. We set up a video call from the workshop, or you can visit the factory with us.
What is the delivery time?
It depends on the model and the quantity. The quotation states the delivery time for your order.
